ZooShoo.com Review!

I'm really disappointed. I've been wanting to purchase from this company for years. I finally had the money to purchase a pair of wedges from them and I was soooo stoked! I went to the site bought my shoes and then waited about a week in a half for them to arrive. They cost $30 and I had free shipping! When they came I was happy but when I got ready to put them on I looked at them and they looked small for a pair of size 11 shoes. I tried them on realized they didn't fit and I instantly got upset! I really wanted these shoes for a dress that I ordered and I couldn't believe that I couldn't fit them.

So I decided to conduct a little test with the shoe. I said "Hmm let me see if the shoe is sized wrong or is it just my feet?"

FYI - I have fat feet. Usually the shoe game for me is limited. Because of my wide feet it makes it difficult to order from just anywhere.

Anyway I decided to have my mom try on the shoes. She's a size 9 by the way and the shoes fit perfect! I'm upset. I felt like if they are not true to size then they shouldn't advertise that. It should explain the "sizing". Some sites explain that they get their shoes from Europe and they are sized differently over there by the country they are made in. What did we learn from this? Buying your shoes online can be a crap shoot. And just because it says its your size be prepared to accept that is not true. Not all shoes are created equal.

If they were true to size and absolutely fit me, this blog would be different. I'm truly upset. Honestly I wanted those shoes and now I'm like sorely disappointed. I just can't give them a higher rating than this and I really want to!

Now I've always been a very well rounded girl when it came to fashion. I like my shoe game to be tight and my clothes to offer edgy, subtle sophisticated, realness. Does that make sense? LOL! So I'm no stranger to a good pair of sneaks (jordans, creative recs, nikes, the list goes on and on).

Well Ms Teyana Taylor a very well known sneaker head has turned the sneaker world upside down with her additions to the well known and diverse culture. Teyana Taylor teamed up with Adidas Originals and was asked to create a pair of sneakers that reflected Harlem. And boy oh boy did Teyana deliver!!!! She came up with the concept of Harlem GLC (Good Luck Charm) a line of sneaks that are not only original but still on trend with the colors and prints that a high fashion designer would love to use. Check out the first pair she released earlier this year in February:

The sneakers are BAD! Teyana and her team are GENIUSES! I dig the creative way to utilized the back of shoe with the black bands. But the only drawback I have is that they are $140 a pop! Thats a lot of dough for some sneaks. I understand they were custom designs, by a celebrity, and are a part of the Adidas originals. And I know what y'all are saying: Tiffany you just confessed to owning several pair of high end sneakers yourself. Before y'all beat me up let me explain. Every pair of Jordans, Dunks, Bigs, Creative Recs or what have you that I own were bought for me. I have never spent a dime of my own money over $100 for a pair of sneakers. So I am not, nor have I have claimed to be a true sneakerhead I just appreciate the culture, thats all.

Teyana Taylor I'm sorry to say I don't follow you on Instagram or Twitter and I had idea about shoes but I gotta say these are awesome. Big UPS to you girl. You mad style and you got some big props from me!!!!

RATING TIME!!!!!

OVERALL: 10 OUT OF 10 - Great concept, great design. Its got the vibe that every sneakerhead secretly and publicly wants: Originality with a hit of celebrity luxury.
COST: 6 OUT OF 10 - Only because its not an affordable price but given the high end value of the shoe is actually affordable for people who have $140 to spend on some sneaks. Me...sigh, I'll just admire from a distance!
SHOE DESIGN: 10 OUT OF 10 - She kept the true nature of a sneaker. But jazzed it up with beautiful bronze colored snakeskin metallic leather that was brought out by black accents. Along with the faux studded tongue and very creative black band heel.

I came across this company one day watching RuPaul's Drag Race on Logo. One of the queens won a challenge and the prize wad a pair of custom made shoes from ShoesforQueens.com. When I saw those shoes spinning on that table I fell in LOVE! I immediately went to my computer and went to the site. I was amazed at his creativity and spunk!

Shoes for Queens are a custom shoe company that uses shoes from sizes 6 -15 to create beautiful masterpieces. Unique shoes custom made that are unmatched by any major design house. Absolutely some of the most unique and edgy shoes I have ever seen.

My experience with the company was great! I was going to have my wedding (been planning it forever and haven't really been able to get it off the ground but eventually I WILL, anyway...) and I wanted a pair of shoes that would stop traffic. Then I remembered ShoesforQueens.com. I went to the site and I found the perfect pair of shoes that I wanted. I was so happy and the price wasn't that bad either. But when I got ready to select my size I didn't see my size. Plus I feared that the shoes wouldn't be wide enough to fit my feet. So I decided to contact Shawn. He was so nice and I got a message back by the next day. He informed me that he would be able to find the wide width shoe in my size and customize the design as well. He said I may have to pay extra which I didn't mind and that it would take a while for the shoe to ship to him so that he could affix the design. I was willing to wait for the shoe but then the wedding got sidelined again and I didn't need the shoes anymore. I contacted him again and explained my situation, he said that whenever I wanted the shoes as long as they were available on the site I could come back and get them. I was STOKED! To this day I still want those shoes. When I get the money I most definitely will get them!!! Shawn caters to his customers whatever he doesn't have available he will try to find for you. Great customer service, great product, awesome awesome company!
