In Makeup you advance by doing. There is no shortcut you just have to get up and do it! I have gotten better in my makeup application. My only problem area is my eyebrows but I am working on it ;). Anywho here are some photos of my makeup progression. And some Videos!
In the first half of my makeup applications I was only using one color and not doing any blending or crease cutting. It looked good enough, gave me a small pop of color. In the second of half of my makeup applications you'll be able to see how I began to use certain techniques in my makeup: crease cutting, playing with dark and light colors, giving my eyes shape and dimension.
These are just the different ways I have done my makeup. I've been able to evolve in makeup because I kept at it. Makeup is an enhancement tool. You can do so many creative things with makeup and its simple small techniques that can help you to achieve everything from smokey eyes to simple everyday looks. Just try it out. Pretty Simplistic looks. No shading, no contrasting colors. Just one color, liner, and some lip gloss and I was still killing it! LOL
